Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Consultant for our West regional Advisory Services team. You will work on-site at client locations such as Rancho Dominguez, CA, performing EHS assessments, trainings, and reporting while supporting safety program development.

The role requires 2+ years in EHS, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in an EHS capacity.
• Detail orientation.
• Problem solver with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Possess valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Measure occupational and environmental hazards using calibrated equipment and collect samples as needed.
• Assess effectiveness of engineered control systems (e.g., fume hoods).
• Inspect machinery and equipment for safety (lifting devices, guards, scaffolding).
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and PPE compliance.
• Identify hazards and help implement controls (ventilation changes).
• Assist in investigating accidents and recommending corrective action.
• Communicate safety issues with client personnel and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct on-site EH&S trainings (new employee orientation, hazard communication, forklift training).
• Write reports including accident reports and OSHA recordkeeping entries.
• Assist in developing policies, procedures, and safety manuals.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or related field
