Job summary

Delek US Holdings is seeking a Safety Specialist to conduct comprehensive safety audits across refineries and facilities. You will investigate incidents, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrences.

Your role includes ensuring compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations, delivering training, and monitoring KPIs. Some travel within the region and potential overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in safety/related field.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits of buildings, facilities, tools and equipment.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Develop recommendations and follow-up actions to improve safety performance.
• Maintain knowledge of government safety regulations and ensure compliance.
• Provide safety training and guidance to refinery personnel.
• Maintain safety KPIs and report leading/lagging indicators.
• Travel within assigned region; occasional overnight stays may be required.
