Job summary

Delek US in Arkansas is seeking a safety professional to conduct audits of refinery buildings, facilities, tools and equipment, determining training needs and delivering applicable safety training.

The role investigates accidents to identify root causes, develops corrective actions, and ensures compliance with OSHA and federal, state and local regulations. A 4-year degree and 4+ years in safety or related fields are required; a valid driver’s license is required. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a related field.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety audits of buildings, facilities, tools and equipment.
• Determine safety training requirements and deliver training applicable to work processes.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain knowledge of government safety regulations and ensure compliance.
• Maintain, report safety KPIs including leading and lagging indicators.
