Job summary

Delek US Holdings is seeking a Health & Safety professional to lead studies ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety standards. The role investigates incidents, drives safety performance metrics, and determines root causes to prevent recurrence.

Candidates should have a 4-year degree and at least two years in a related field; travel and on-call availability are required to support refinery operations across multiple sites.

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Two (2) or more years experience in a related field (Required)
  • No Licensure or Certification Required.

  • Serves as technical resource to Refining organization
  • Performs research/assessment of regulatory requirements to determine impact on refinery operations
  • Provides regulatory interpretation to refineries' health and safety staffs on application of rules, regulations, and industry practices
  • Assists in the development and implementation of safety and health standards and initiatives
  • Collaborates with field health and safety staffs to define standards, procedures, and processes to ensure standardization across all refineries
