Prairie Land Electric Coop Inc. seeks a Manager of Safety to lead the development and administration of the cooperative's comprehensive safety and apprenticeship programs.

You will work with leadership and operations to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. The role includes delivering safety training, conducting field safety observations, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions to reduce risk for employees,

Qualifications

• Journeyman Lineman certification.
• Five years of experience in electric utility operations, industrial safety, or risk management.
• Valid Kansas Driver's License.
• Experience in safety training and leadership is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and administration of the Cooperative's safety program and apprenticeship program.
• Coordinate safety training and field safety observations; conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other agencies; maintain documentation and records.
• Manage safety committee activities, reporting, and safety metrics; communicate with leadership and staff.
