Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, physical or natural sciences, or related area.
• Preferred CSP, CUSA, and/or CIH designation.
• Experience in safety, industrial hygiene, emergency management, safety management, or compliance planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard identifications and evaluate conditions, methods, or processes with potential to cause harm.
• Perform hazard evaluations and compare hazard levels to standards; assess safety testing.
• Investigate complaints, incidents, injuries, and exposures; review related standards.
• Advise local safety leadership on measures to reduce injuries and risks.
• Develop safety communications and training materials for diverse audiences.
• Track safety performance and prepare metrics and budget forecasts.
