Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree emphasis in safety, industrial hygiene, physical or natural sciences, or related area.
• Certification preferred: CSP, CUSA, CIH.
• Minimum 5 years of safety experience.
• Experience in safety, industrial hygiene, emergency management, or compliance planning.
• Experience with incident investigations using a learning team model.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard identifications and risk evaluations; compare to standards.
• Perform inspections, document reviews, interviews, or inquiries, and hazard analyses.
• Investigate complaints and incidents; review related standards.
• Review safety practices and communicate best practices to reduce injuries.
• Develop safety communications and educate diverse audiences.
• Track safety performance metrics and budget forecasts; OSHA records.
