Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Advisor, Safety to lead the development and management of occupational safety programs across its operations in MA, CT, and NH. The role partners with operations and safety vendors to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.

Expect travel and emergency response duties as part of the position. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Safety or Engineering with 5–8 years of safety program management experience, and may have CSP/ASP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Safety management, Engineering or equivalent combined education and experience.
• Five to eight years related experience with program management and safety.
• Additional safety trainings and certifications such as CSP/ASP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic and programmatic solutions to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Provides program oversight to field operations and safety vendors.
• Develops, implements and monitors program effectiveness.
• Assists safety managers with statistical analysis and data related to safety programs.
• Identifies and coordinates resources to implement safety programs.
• Willingness to travel between MA/CT/NH and handle emergency restoration activities.
