Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Advisor, Safety to lead the administration, development and improvement of occupational safety and health programs across the enterprise. The role partners with Safety management to prevent injuries, ensure regulatory compliance and embed best practices in ES’s safety management system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Safety management, Engineering or equivalent
• Five (5) to eight (8) years related experience with program management and safety
• National Safety Council or CSP/ASP certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic and programmatic solutions to ensure compliance and best practices in safety programs.
• Oversees field operations, field safety advisors and safety vendors.
• Develops, implements and monitors program effectiveness.
• Provides feedback to Safety Managers on programmatic solutions for safety compliance and performance.
• Facilitates causal identification for program needs assessments and future developments.
• Supports Safety Managers with statistical analysis and data related to safety programs.
