Job summary

BlackLine is seeking a Principal Professional Services Solutions Consultant (Principal PSSC) in the United States to lead services sales for the company’s SaaS accounting software. The role includes estimating LOE, drafting SOWs, and guiding customers through implementation with cross-functional PM teams.

You will develop opportunities, coordinate demonstrations, and maintain client relationships, while ensuring successful project delivery and cross-org knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing role.
• Experience in selling SaaS or accounting-related services.
• Experience drafting and negotiating Statements of Work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities by identifying and targeting existing and prospective customers.
• Coordinate product demonstrations and consultations to showcase how the accounting software meets customer needs from a Services Sales perspective.
• Prepare comprehensive Statements of Work (SOW) outlining project scope, deliverables, timelines, and costs.
• Maintain up-to-date services sales activities and provide forecasts for owned opportunities.
• Lead PS solutioning for high-complexity customers and prospects.
