Job summary

MS2 seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to own SaaS operations, automate infrastructure, and improve reliability across the platform. You will partner with Engineering, QA, Support, and Product to reduce risk and enhance service delivery.

The role emphasizes production incident handling, automation, and cross-functional collaboration with a strong focus on security controls and compliance. MS2 offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 5+ years in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience in production SaaS environments.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, deployment automation, and scripting.
• Proven ownership of production incident handling and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience with production back-end services in C#/.NET.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex platform initiatives from design to production support.
• Own SaaS platform operations across app runtime and AWS infra.
• Maintain and harden production server environments, backups, and health checks.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for platform issues.
• Improve observability, monitoring, alerting, and runbooks.
• Monitor platform performance and cloud resource utilization for reliability.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, patching, and standard workflows.
• Collaborate with Support to turn recurring issues into platform improvements.
• Support SOC 2 and related compliance by implementing controls and evidence.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to code/design reviews.
