Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Sr. Software Implementation Configuration Lead to join our growing team in Chicago.

You will lead the implementation and configuration of enterprise SaaS solutions, partnering with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SaaS implementations, client consulting, and solution configuration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field.
• 5‑7+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise SaaS or workflow platforms.
• Hands‑on configuring SaaS applications including workflows, rules, UI, and reports.
• Experience with system integrations, REST APIs, ETL/data mapping, authentication, testing, and deployments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; utility/energy industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and configuration of enterprise SaaS solutions for utilities.
• Partner with clients to gather requirements, run workshops, validate solutions, and guide decisions.
• Configure features, workflows, rules, UI using low-code/HTML/JavaScript to meet requirements.
• Develop functional specs, designs, process flows, and configuration documentation.
• Lead integrations, APIs, ETL, data mapping, authentication, and reporting with client teams.
• Plan and execute configuration, testing, UAT, deployments, and releases.
• Troubleshoot issues; collaborate with Product/Development to resolve.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, performance, usability.
• Provide post‑launch support and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, QA, and Software Project Management.
• Mentor implementation consultants and provide technical leadership.
