Resource Innovations invites a Sr. Software Implementation Configuration Lead to drive enterprise SaaS implementation and configuration for utility clients in Chicago, IL.

You will partner with clients and cross-functional teams to design solutions, configure workflows, and manage integrations, testing, and deployments across the project lifecycle, delivering scalable results and post-launch support. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5-7+ years implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise SaaS in client-facing roles.
• Hands-on experience configuring SaaS apps: workflows, forms, UI, reports, dashboards, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with system integrations, REST APIs, ETL/data mapping, authentication, UAT, deployments, and post-production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; utility/energy sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and configuration of enterprise SaaS solutions for utilities.
• Partner with clients to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, validate solutions, guide decisions.
• Configure features, workflows, rules, UIs, and client-specific functionality using low-code, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop specifications, designs, process flows, and configuration docs.
• Design and implement integrations, APIs, ETL, data mapping, authentication, and reporting with client tech teams.
• Plan and execute configuration, testing (system & UAT), deployments, and production releases.
• Troubleshoot configuration, data, integration, and app issues; collaborate with Product/Development.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, performance, usability, and efficiency.
• Provide post-launch support, knowledge transfer, and ongoing advisory services.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, QA, and Project Management; mentor consultants.

Resource Innovations is seeking a Sr. Software Implementation Configuration Lead to join our growing team.

We are searching for an experienced Lead to spearhead the implementation and configuration of enterprise SaaS solutions, partnering with clients and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality software solutions.

Duties and responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of enterprise SaaS solutions supporting Demand Side Management, Transportation Electrification, and other clean energy programs for utilities.
• Partner directly with clients to gather business requirements, facilitate workshops, validate solutions, and guide implementation decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Configure application features, workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and client‑specific functionality using low‑code/medium code configurations, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript to meet business requirements.
• Develop functional specifications, solution designs, process flows, configuration documentation, and other implementation deliverables.
• Lead the design and implementation of system integrations, APIs, ETL processes, data mapping, user authentication, and reporting requirements in collaboration with client technical teams.
• Plan and execute solution configuration, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment activities, and production releases.
• Troubleshoot configuration, data, integration, and application issues; partnering with Product and Development teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system performance, usability, and implementation efficiency.
• Provide post‑launch support, knowledge transfer, and ongoing solution advisory services.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, QA, and Software Project Management throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Mentor implementation consultants and provide technical leadership on complex client engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5-7+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise SaaS, low‑code, CRM, ERP, or workflow automation platforms in a client‑facing consulting or implementation role.
• Hands‑on experience configuring enterprise SaaS applications, including workflows, business rules, forms, user interfaces, reports, dashboards, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and business process automation.
• Experience with system integrations, REST APIs, ETL/data mapping, authentication, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployments, and post‑production support.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions. Experience in the utility, clean energy, or regulated industries is preferred but not required.

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. The compensation range for the base salary is $75,000‑$110,000, with potential discretionary annual bonus.
