Job summary

Harvest Food Group in East Chicago, IN seeks an experienced S&OP Planner to lead the monthly planning cycle and align demand, supply, inventory, and capacity with financial goals. You will serve as the primary link between Sales, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive service and profitability.

The role focuses on building an 18-24 month rolling plan, monitoring forecast performance, and driving continuous improvement across planning processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field.
• 5-7+ years in supply chain planning, demand or S&OP roles.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or Plex.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly S&OP cycle including Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre-S&OP, and Executive S&OP meetings.
• Develop and maintain a rolling 18-24 month demand and supply plan.
• Coordinate cross-functional decision-making to balance demand, capacity, inventory and financial objectives.
• Present recommendations, risks, and mitigation plans to executive leadership.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias; manage inventory targets and safety stock.
