Job summary

Cytel Inc. in Lincoln, NE seeks an experienced epidemiology data analyst to support Real World Data analyses and regulatory science activities.

You will prepare data extracts, build analytical databases, and conduct analyses per study protocols, presenting results to investigators and clients. Qualifications include a Master’s or PhD in epidemiology/biostatistics with 5+ years of RWE experience, strong SQL, SAS or R skills, and proven project management and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, or economics.
• 5+ years of experience conducting RWE analytics for pharma, CRO, or academic institution.
• SQL proficiency required; SAS or R proficiency also required.
• Experience analyzing RWE data sources (Optum Clinformatics, Truveta, UK Biobank).
• Familiarity with relational databases and claims data layouts.
• Expertise in regression, survival analyses, and propensity weighting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans using large RWD sources.
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain data extracts for studies.
• Create analytical databases to facilitate data analyses.
• Conduct analyses per study protocols and analysis plans.
• Produce tables/figures for discussions with investigators and clients.
• Present results internally and to clients; assist in reports and deliverables.
• May assume supervisory responsibilities in the future.
