Job summary

Bish's RV Davenport is seeking a skilled RV Technician to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of RV systems. You will work independently and with the service team to ensure quality workmanship and timely customer deliveries.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on RV repair experience and RVTI certification. You'll install aftermarket accessories, complete PDIs, and maintain thorough service records in a safety-focused shop environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair procedures.
• RVTI certification.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
• Have a set of personal tools.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientation.
• Diagnose and repair RV systems including electric (AC/DC), plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural components.
• Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and prepare units for customer delivery.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time tracking.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to entry-level and mid-level technicians.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and dealership standards.
• Keep workspace organized, clean, and stocked with essential tools and materials.
