Job summary

Bish’s RV Bozeman is seeking an experienced RV Technician to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and chassis components.

You will work independently and mentor junior technicians, maintain accurate service records, and ensure safety and dealership standards while delivering high-quality workmanship. This role offers a pathway for growth within a growing, family-owned service team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair procedures.
• RVTI certification.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
• Have a set of personal tools.
• Stand, crouch, and bend for extended periods.
• Lift 25–50 lbs with assistance.
• Work in heat, cold, dust and loud environments.
• Flexible schedules, including Saturdays (Sundays off).
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Pass background and drug screening.
• Align with company values and vision.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex diagnostics and repairs to ensure timely, accurate service across RV makes and models.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to a collaborative, high-quality work environment.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship to enhance customer satisfaction and promote repeat business.
• Learn and execute Get Ready and customer orientation processes.
• Diagnose and repair RV systems including electrical (AC/DC), plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural components.
• Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and prepare units for customer delivery.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time tracking.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to entry-level and mid-level technicians.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and dealership standards.
• Keep workspace organized, clean, and stocked with essential tools and materials.
