Job summary

Bish’s RV is seeking an Experienced RV Technician to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and chassis components. You will lead diagnostics, mentor junior technicians, and maintain high workmanship standards in a fast-paced shop, with a focus on customer satisfaction and timely service.

This role requires 4+ years of hands-on RV repair, RVTI certification, personal tools, and the ability to pass background and drug tests,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair procedures.
• RVTI certification.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
• Have a set of personal tools.
• The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive device.
• Work in environments with heat, cold, dust, and loud noises.
• Saturdays required; Sundays off.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Ability to pass a background and drug test.
• Demonstrate alignment with the Company’s vision, mission, and core values.

Responsibilities

• Inspect units for customer sales
• Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientation
• Diagnose and repair RV systems including but not limited to: electric (AC/DC), plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural components.
• Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and prepare units for customer delivery.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time tracking.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to entry-level and mid-level technicians.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and dealership standards.
• Keep workspace organized, clean, and stocked with essential tools and materials.
