Job summary

Rustify is seeking a Senior Rust Engineer to own the real-time decisioning system at the core of our audio technology platform. You will maintain production Rust workloads on AWS and ensure high availability while integrating mid-life migrations.

You will work in a small, profitable team, directly with the technical founder CTO, shaping architecture and deployment decisions for a scalable service used by billions of decisions monthly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years production backend experience with Rust at production depth.
• Real fluency in distributed failure modes: retries, dead letter queues, idempotency, at least once delivery.
• Experience with AWS serverless: Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS and taking over a live codebase.

Responsibilities

• Own the real-time decisioning system at the core of the product.
• Maintain and evolve production Rust workloads on AWS serverless.
• Navigate a mid-lifecycle codebase and move architecture forward without breaking existing work.
• Collaborate closely with founders/CTO and the rest of a small, profitable team.
