webAI is seeking a Senior Platform Rust Engineer to build the core software platform that supports our enterprise and consumer products. You will design and implement reusable platform capabilities and expose them through stable APIs and SDKs for internal and external developers.

You will own features from architecture through testing, packaging, release, and production support, while shaping API evolution, security, and performance across multi‑platform pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and API/SDK design experience.
• Strong systems engineering, concurrency, and performance skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Experience packaging and distributing production software.
• Ability to write tests and technical documentation.
• Experience diagnosing complex integration and reliability problems.
• Proven ability to take complex requirements through design to release.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and build platform capabilities shared across products.
• Develop backend and systems software with emphasis on performance, security, and reliability.
• Create APIs and SDKs for internal and external developers.
• Own features from architecture through release and production support.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for multi-platform builds and releases.
• Define API/versioning strategies and migrations.
• Write documentation, examples, and reference implementations.
• Diagnose performance and reliability issues across complex systems.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to turn needs into platform capabilities.
• Enhance developer tooling and SDK ecosystem growth.
