Job summary

Your ITeams Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Mid/Senior Ruby on Rails Developer for the US healthtech market. You will work on a mature Rails monolith, uphold security standards for sensitive medical data, and help speed prescription-to-delivery features.

You will design data models, implement background jobs with Sidekiq, write tests, and participate in architecture decisions. English is required for client calls; Polish supports internal collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years for mid, 5 years for senior in Ruby/Rails.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL relational design; MSSQL familiarity.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker and Git workflows.
• Solid testing mindset with RSpec or Minitest.
• Ability to make scalable, secure architectural decisions.
• Daily use of AI tools; critical review of AI-generated code.
• Fluent English for client-facing work; Polish for internal collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side features in a large Rails monolith.
• Design and optimize relational data models; integrate MSSQL when required.
• Implement and maintain background processing with Sidekiq.
• Write and maintain automated tests (RSpec or Minitest).
• Participate in architecture decisions focusing on scalability and security.
• Use LaunchDarkly for feature flags; monitor errors with Sentry; analyze data in Metabase.
• Review code produced with AI assistance for quality and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and clients in English; participate in calls and demos.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based workflows.
