Job summary

SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is seeking a Senior RTL Design Engineer in Redmond, WA, to evaluate architectural trade-offs and implement RTL designs in Verilog/System Verilog. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering and 5+ years of experience in RTL implementation.

This position offers a competitive salary between $160,000.00 and $225,000.00 per year, along with comprehensive benefits including medical coverage and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in RTL implementation.
• Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate architectural trade-offs based on features, performance requirements and system limitations.
• Define micro-architecture, implement the RTL in Verilog/System Verilog, and deliver fully verified design.
• Work closely with verification team to ensure all design aspects are verified.
• Provide timing constraints for IPs and support physical implementation team.
• Participate in silicon bring-up and validation.
