Job summary

Siemens Energy in Orlando seeks a Senior Consultant for Real-Time Digital Simulation (RTDS) with extensive HVDC experience. You will develop sophisticated RTDS models, validate them, and support grid integration studies for HVDC applications.

You'll lead consulting engagements, present findings to clients and regulators, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development by proposing technical solutions and building execution teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in electrical power engineering required.
• 8+ years of real-time digital simulation and power system modeling experience.
• Expertise with RTDS hardware/software and RSCAD modeling.
• Strong consulting and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate RTDS models for HVDC systems and grid studies.
• Lead real-time simulations and analyze converter controls and harmonics.
• Manage RTDS consulting engagements from start to finish.
• Present results to clients and regulators; mentor junior staff.
• Identify market opportunities and build project teams.
