Job summary

Siemens Energy’s Grid Consulting team seeks a Senior Expert RTDS to develop and validate real-time digital simulation models for HVDC and grid integration. You will review complex RTDS models, lead engagements, and coordinate with engineers, sub-contractors, and clients worldwide.

The role requires extensive RTDS/RSCAD experience, HIL testing, and strong consulting and communication skills, with travel ~10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced RTDS hardware/software knowledge and real-time simulation experience.
• Experience with HVDC applications and grid integration.
• Strong consulting and client-communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RTDS model development and validation for HVDC and grid studies.
• Lead engagements from initiation to completion with cross-functional teams.
• Present results to clients and regulatory authorities; mentor junior staff.
