Job summary

Percheron LLC is seeking a Sr. Right of Way Agent to manage land acquisitions for construction projects. The role requires deep knowledge of title, permitting, acquisition, and documentation, plus familiarity with property valuation, survey drawings, and alignment sheets.

You will research and negotiate land leases, obtain necessary permits, and handle transfers, deeds, and related legal matters. Strong communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in the Right of Way industry.
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ROW policies.
• Understanding of property valuation, survey drawings and alignments sheets.
• Ability to plan, organize workload and work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Research, negotiate and elect to purchase short- and long-term land leases for ROW.
• Identify land ownership interests and determine required permits.
• Oversee land-related legal issues including transfers and deeds.
• Prepare reports for complex negotiations on easements and permits.
• Perform due diligence on land rights and present deficiencies for remedial action.
• Liaise with landowners/tenants on ownership, easement rights and access.
• Review third-party plans and ROW records for conflicts.
• Maintain status updates with supervisor and follow client procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
