Job summary

Percheron LLC is seeking a Sr. Right of Way Agent to join our team in Albuquerque. You will research, negotiate, and secure land rights for construction projects, including easements and permits, while coordinating with landowners and internal teams.

You will manage title work, valuations, survey data, and alignment sheets, ensuring compliance with regulations. Strong communication and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in the Right of Way industry.
• Active NM Real Estate License.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations, and right of way policies and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of property valuation, survey drawings, and alignments sheets.
• Ability to complete right-of-way transactions independently.

Responsibilities

• Research, negotiate and elect to purchase land rights for construction.
• Identify land ownership interests and permit requirements for projects.
• Oversee transfers of titles, deeds, and related legal documents.
• Prepare reports on complex easement negotiations and permits.
• Perform due diligence to ensure land rights accuracy and identify deficiencies.
• Serve as liaison with landowners on ownership, easement rights, and access issues.
