Job summary

Worley is seeking a Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer in Long Beach or Monrovia, CA to lead the rotating equipment scope on major projects, develop specifications and data sheets, and ensure compliance with API 617, 614, 670 and 671 while coordinating with other disciplines. The role requires 12+ years in rotating equipment within Petroleum-Chemical/Oil & Gas, leadership experience, and excellent English communication.

Travel to vendor facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Develop/check specifications, data sheets, technical bids and POs; resolve vendor technical queries.
• Coordinate project requirements with other disciplines, project staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Update schedules and progress reports.
• Develop hour estimates, TIC estimates and deliverable requirements for rotating scope.
• Ensure adherence to engineering practices, regulatory requirements and customer specs.
