Job summary

Worley seeks a Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer in California to lead the rotating engineering scope for projects in Long Beach or Monrovia. You will direct discipline delivery, develop budgets, and coordinate with management and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in rotating equipment engineering (gas/steam turbines, compressors, pumps) with 3+ years in leadership, strong API knowledge, and a commitment to safety and quality in oil, gas and

Qualifications

Minimum 12 years of rotating engineering experience in Petroleum-Chemical, Oil & Gas, plus 3 years in other Mechanical equipment, and at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong commitment to HSE in a project environment.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Experience with API 617, 614, 670 and 671 is preferred.
Knowledge of quality control and QA for engineering work.

Responsibilities

Update schedules and progress reports.
Develop budgets for new work and interface with project management and customers.
Ensure adherence to engineering practices, regulatory requirements and customer specs.
Standardize equipment specifications, drawings and document templates.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project success and lead a team.
