Job summary

Worley in Monrovia, CA is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead advanced process design and deliverables for complex projects. You will mentor engineers, conduct studies, and guide technical decisions across procurement, construction, and commissioning.

The role requires 12+ years in process engineering, refinery and oil & gas experience, and strong leadership within multi-disciplinary teams; familiarity with local/international standards is essential.

Qualifications

Experience leading and managing medium/large process teams.
Excellent front-end design capability with conceptual design and process simulation.
Excellent technical and practical engineering skills with timely delivery to Worley and clients.
Familiarity with local and international standards and regulatory specs.
Proficient use of MS Office and process engineering software.

Responsibilities

Generate, review, and approve Process deliverables (H&MB, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specs).
Conduct process studies as needed and mentor junior engineers.
Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Lead project requirements and ensure scope clarity and budget adherence.
Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
