Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (Engine - UH-60/AH-64/CH-47) in Colorado Springs to inspect and perform maintenance on aircraft turbine engines and components per drawings, directives, manuals and safety procedures. This hands-on role requires use of aviation tools and teamwork to keep aircraft mission-ready.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate ($40.08–$41.29) with benefits, leave accrual and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Military technical school or specialized training desired; education level certification may be required.
• US citizenship may be required for facility credentials/clearance.
• Three years aviation maintenance experience with two years rotary wing work and two years on the MDS in the last six years.
• Must provide own tools; toolbox requirements provided after selection.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform maintenance on aircraft turbine engines and components per drawings and manuals.
• Lead teams through complex aircraft tasks when required and document work in records.
