Job summary

DACG, Inc. is a growing Central Florida GC specializing in K-12 school projects and site improvements.

We seek an experienced Roofing Superintendent to lead commercial roofing operations from startup through completion, coordinating crews, schedules, and manufacturer requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong field leadership, technical roofing expertise, and the ability to independently manage projects, ensure safety, quality, and timely completion at occupied school sites in Seminole

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial roofing; prior Roofing Superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, installation methods, codes, and manufacturer requirements.
• Ability to read construction drawings and roofing details.
• Experience managing roofing crews, subcontractors, equipment, and daily field operations.
• Experience with K-12 school construction preferred.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily roofing operations from startup to completion.
• Read and interpret drawings, specs, roofing details; ensure code compliance.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain schedules; coordinate subcontractors and material availability.
• Coordinate with manufacturers on installation requirements and warranties.
• Manage materials, equipment, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Oversee roofing crews and DACG field personnel; enforce safety and quality.
• Maintain safety standards and minimize disruption to occupied campuses.
• Communicate progress, schedules, and disruptions with clients and school reps.
• Monitor progress and maintain daily reports and progress photos.
• Coordinate final inspections, punch list, and turnover.
