Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking a hands-on Superintendent to lead all on-site commercial roofing operations in North Florida and the Panhandle. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely completion while coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules.

The ideal candidate has strong field leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple roofing projects with a focus on OSHA compliance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent in commercial roofing construction.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout North Florida and the Panhandle as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for commercial roofing projects.
• Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Perform quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction.
• Communicate project progress with project managers, customers, and company leadership.
• Identify and resolve field issues to minimize project delays.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation, and jobsite records.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
