Kimmel & Associates on behalf of a respected commercial roofing contractor seeks a Superintendent to lead on-site roofing projects across North Florida and the Panhandle, ensuring safe, efficient work that meets project specs. You will coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules while upholding quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent in commercial roofing construction.
• Knowledge of roofing systems, installation methods and industry best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel North Florida and Panhandle.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for commercial roofing projects.
• Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Perform quality control inspections throughout construction.
• Communicate project progress with managers, customers, and leadership.
• Identify and resolve field issues to minimize delays.
• Maintain daily reports, documentation, and jobsite records.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations.

About the Position

The Superintendent will lead all on-site construction activities for commercial roofing projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. This individual will serve as the primary field leader, coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules while maintaining the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for commercial roofing projects


• Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries


• Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved

• Perform quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction


• Communicate project progress with project managers, customers, and company leadership

Requirements

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills


• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards


• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications


• Valid driver\'s license with the ability to travel throughout North Florida and the Panhandle as needed
