Job summary

DACG, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on commercial construction projects across Central Florida, primarily K–12 sites.

You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, uphold safety and quality standards, and work with the CMAR delivery method under the supervision of an experienced Superintendent. Travel to project sites and Altamonte Springs office may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent on commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of safety, scheduling, and quality standards.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and day-to-day field activities.
• Procore or similar CMMS software familiarity.
• K–12 school construction and CMAR exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent in daily field activities.
• Promote site safety on occupied campuses.
• Read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Coordinate subcontractors, sequencing, deliveries.
• Monitor progress and maintain project schedules.
• Conduct site walks and ensure quality.
• Maintain daily reports and site documentation using Procore.
• Assist with inspections and closeout.
