Job summary

Crown Roofing & Waterproofing (CRW) seeks a Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee projects across the Tampa Bay, Bradenton, and Sarasota areas. You will supervise crews, manage safety, schedules, and quality, coordinating with PMs, general contractors, inspectors, and customers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial roofing, strong leadership, familiarity with TPO, PVC, EPDM, and metal roofs, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up, metal).
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of construction plans, scheduling, and job costing.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, materials, equipment and field labor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for multiple commercial roofing projects in the Tampa Bay and Sarasota region.
• Supervise roofing crews, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and scheduling to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor project progress, labor efficiency, and job costs to maintain profitability.
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, project requirements, and codes.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections to identify and resolve production, quality, and safety concerns.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies, including fall protection.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, inspectors, and customers on schedules and progress.
• Review plans, specs, and scope of work for accurate field execution.
• Identify delays and material shortages and implement timely solutions.
• Maintain daily production reports and project documentation.
• Assist with crew development, training, and performance management.
• Participate in planning, scheduling and closeout activities.
