Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering in Tigard, OR is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead Rockwell/Allen Bradley integration projects. You will program PLCs, develop HMIs and SCADA, and support start-up and checkout for semiconductor and industrial clients.

The role requires 5–10 years in control systems, strong PLC/SCADA expertise, and travel up to 25%. On-site collaboration in a cleanroom/industrial setting is expected.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years in control systems, ladder logic, and SCADA applications.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs and related hardware.
• Experience with Ignition or GE Cimplicity SCADA systems is a plus.
• Strong documentation and startup support capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops control logic software and user interface applications.
• Assists with initial start-up and debug of integrated systems and documentation.
• Works on automation projects for semiconductor, pulp and paper, and F&B clients.
• Acts as technical lead guiding engineers and technicians.
• Interprets diagrams and follows ISA standards; supports project checks.
• Performs general administrative tasks as needed.
