Job summary

Voyager seeks a Systems Engineer IV – Test who leads integration and testing for rocket motor systems, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and serving as the primary technical interface to customers. Based in Reno, NV or Folsom, CA, this role reports to the Systems Engineering Manager.

You will develop test plans, oversee SWIL/HWIL testing, mentor junior engineers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to MIL-STD and safety standards while delivering clear test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited university.
• 7–10 years of hands-on test engineering experience in propulsion, aerospace or related industries.
• Experience with rocket motor integration and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and test activities for rocket motor systems.
• Develop, maintain and standardize test plans, procedures and data collection strategies.
• Oversee test software and hardware development for SWIL and HWIL testing.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers.
• Communicate test results and risks to management and customers.
• Ensure safety protocols and engineering standards are followed.
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes and tools.
• Lead TRRs and other technical reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex test issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Apply systems engineering to align test with requirements.
