Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a Systems Engineer IV Test to lead integration and testing of rocket motor systems from Reno, NV or Folsom, CA. You will coordinate multi-subsystem campaigns, mentor engineers, and interface with customers to report status and risks.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in propulsion test, strong leadership, and expertise in C/C++, MATLAB, Python and Simulink, plus experience with MIL-STD and DAQ systems. Join us to advance national security and space capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or related STEM field.
• 7–10 years of hands-on test engineering experience in propulsion/aerospace; rocket motor integration experience.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills across multiple teams; high-impact decision maker.
• Proven track record of delivering results in high-pressure test environments.
• Excellent communication, planning and multitasking abilities; ability to convey complex data clearly.
• Experience with MIL-STD and aerospace qualification/acceptance testing.
• Proficient in C/C++, MATLAB, Python and Simulink for test software development.
• Experience with test instrumentation, DAQ and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and test activities for rocket motor systems, including prep, execution and post-test analysis.
• Develop, maintain and standardize test plans and data collection strategies.
• Oversee test software and hardware development for SWIL and HWIL testing.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Communicate test results and issues to management, customers and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure safety protocols and engineering standards during all test activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes, tools and methodologies.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews and other technical reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and resolve test anomalies.
• Apply systems engineering principles to ensure test systems align with requirements.
