You will design and implement advanced manipulation software, work with motion planning and kinematics, and collaborate with hardware teams to integrate systems. The role emphasizes production-grade quality, testing, and mentorship within a dynamic AI robotics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics/computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development in production.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience with parallel/distributed and asynchronous/concurrent programming.
• Experience in motion planning, motion execution, multi-arm coordination, or environment representation.
• Experience with RESTful interfaces and gRPC.
• Familiarity with design patterns and system design.
• Ability to deliver well-tested software and handle ambiguity.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and automated testing including hardware-in-the-loop.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support advanced robotic manipulation software deployed in production environments.
• Create high-performance software for robotic manipulation focusing on motion planning, kinematics, control strategies and motion execution.
• Use and extend simulation environments to test manipulation development for robust performance.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, product managers, and other software teams to integrate capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Communicate priorities and status clearly and proactively.
