Berkshire Grey, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Robotics, to advance manipulation software for automated picking and packing systems in production environments. You will work across hardware and software teams to push capabilities in motion planning, kinematics, and control strategies.

You will design robust software interfaces, leverage simulation tools, and mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality, well-tested solutions for real-world tasks in a leadership-driven team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, CS, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development in production.
• Proficient in Python and related async concepts.
• Experience with motion planning, robotic kinematics, and environment representation.
• Experience designing RESTful interfaces and gRPC.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and automated testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and support robotic manipulation software in production.
• Develop high-performance software for motion planning and kinematics.
• Work with simulation environments to test manipulation development.
• Collaborate with hardware, PMs, and other software teams to integrate systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Communicate priorities and status clearly to stakeholders.
