Job summary

Amazon Robotics is hiring a software engineer to design and deploy intelligent software systems that bring robots to life in Amazon’s fulfillment centers. You will build infrastructure that enables robots to perceive, learn, and act at scale, and you will mentor colleagues across an interdisciplinary team.

You will work with robotics, computer vision, and ML to monitor fleets, drive reliability, and deliver scalable solutions across multiple locations, including new site launches and ongoing

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional software development experience
• 5 years of leading design or architecture of systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead

Responsibilities

• Design infrastructure software that integrates robotic systems with cloud services
• Build scalable software across multiple fulfillment locations
• Develop monitoring, fault detection, and simulation systems for fleet reliability
• Collaborate with roboticists, hardware engineers, data scientists, and operations
• Conduct testing, code reviews, and architectural planning for reliability and scalability
