Job summary

Heaviside Industries, Inc. is hiring for a robotics software engineer to advance autonomous munitions and robotic systems. You will develop embedded software in C++ and Python, build ROS-based applications, and integrate sensors and actuators to enable autonomous navigation and control.

You will work with an in-house team to take features from concept through deployment, participate in code reviews, and help shape the software stack for GPS-denied environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++ with strong Python capabilities.
• Hands-on ROS and PX4 experience; ROS 2 is a plus.
• Experience developing and debugging software on Linux.
• Familiarity with robotics fundamentals: control, frames, sensors.
• Experience with embedded systems and hardware interfaces.
• Proficient in Git and collaborative software development.
