Job summary

The software role focuses on robust C/C++ and Python in resource-constrained, real-time environments on Linux/RTOS, interfacing with sensors and hardware, and supporting field-tested systems. You'll work with cross-disciplinary engineers to take capabilities from prototype to production, build simulation and test infrastructure, and contribute to fast-moving engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in C/C++ and Python
• Hands-on experience with embedded Linux and RTOS
• Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet and network programming
• Experience integrating sensors, radios, actuators, or hardware into production/fielded systems
• Proficient with Git, code reviews, and collaborative software workflows

Responsibilities

• Write robust C, C++, and Python for resource-constrained, real-time environments on Linux/RTOS
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, RF, and systems engineers to move capabilities from prototype to production
• Design and maintain software for autonomous systems, including embedded and mission software
• Build software interfaces to sensors, radios, actuators, cameras, and hardware; validate on bench and field
• Develop simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and automated test infra for rapid iteration
• Support integration campaigns and field-test events; debug on live hardware and implement fixes
• Contribute to engineering practices like code reviews, CI, and lightweight documentation
