Samsung Research America’s Robot Intelligence Lab seeks a Senior Simulation Software Engineer to design and scale a cloud-hosted, high-performance robotics simulation pipeline. You will work with world-class AI researchers to translate cutting-edge algorithms into robust, real-world prototypes.

You will optimize GPU-accelerated simulators, build robust C++/Rust/Python components, and deploy large-scale cloud-based training workflows to close the simulation-to-reality gap.

Competenze

• MS degree in CS/EE/Robotics.
• 5+ years of robotics R&D experience.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ on Linux.
• Experience with robotics simulation frameworks (IsaacSim, Gazebo, PyBullet, MuJoCo).
• Familiarity with URDF, SDFormat or USD.
• Experience designing software components and cloud-based data pipelines.
• Proficiency with Docker, Git, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Develop Python, C++ and Rust components of a robotics simulation pipeline including asset conversion and cloud deployment.
• Own components through concept to internal release.
• Profile and optimize code for latency and throughput in simulation.
• Collaborate with researchers to develop robotics algorithms in simulation.
• Contribute to the Robot Intelligence Lab roadmap and release cadence.
• Support reproducible AI development environments and cloud-based training workflows.
