Samsung Research America’s Robot Intelligence Lab seeks a Senior Simulation Software Engineer to design and scale a cloud-hosted, high-performance robotics simulation pipeline. You will work with world-class AI researchers to translate cutting-edge algorithms into robust, real-world prototypes.
You will optimize GPU-accelerated simulators, build robust C++/Rust/Python components, and deploy large-scale cloud-based training workflows to close the simulation-to-reality gap.
The Robot Intelligence Lab at Samsung Research America is a new facility dedicated to advancing the field of robotics through cutting-edge research and development. The lab's mission is to develop advanced technologies to power intelligent robotic systems capable of manipulation, navigation, and complex reasoning for a variety of high-impact application areas. To achieve this mission, the lab collaborates closely with external entities such as universities, startups, and government labs, as well as with several Samsung Product and Advanced Research labs.

The Robot Intelligence Lab at Samsung Research America (SRA) is building the foundational "brains" for the next generation of intelligent, physical robots. We are looking for a Senior Simulation Software Engineer to design and scale our cloud-hosted, high-performance simulation pipeline.
In this role, you will act as the critical engineering pillar of our lab—collaborating closely with world-class AI researchers to transition cutting-edge algorithms (manipulation, locomotion, and VLA models) from mathematical concepts into robust, physical-world realities. If you are passionate about optimizing GPU-accelerated simulators (like IsaacSim/MuJoCo), building robust C++/Rust/Python components, and deploying massive cloud-based training workflows to close the simulation-to-reality gap, this is your playground.
