Job summary

Bonsai Robotics is seeking a Senior Program Manager to bring order to a fast-moving hardware-software organization. You’ll bridge Product, Hardware, and Software, drive schedules and budgets, and surface risks for leadership.

This role is largely on-site in San Jose and Watsonville, CA, with some travel to support customers and initiatives. Ideal candidates have PMP, 5+ years in program management for robotics or similar hardware domains, and a track record delivering complex programs with

Qualifications

• PMP certification and 5+ years of program management in hardware-plus-software settings.
• Ability to align Product, Hardware and Software teams; manage budgets and risk.
• Experience building scalable processes in startups or fast-moving teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the programs leader and primary link between cross functional product development teams.
• Own end-to-end program plans spanning product, hardware, and software development.
• Build and maintain integrated program charters, scopes, budgets and schedules.
• Run program cadences and leadership-level status updates across disciplines.
• Track budget, scope, and resourcing; present options to leadership.
• Manage risk registers and mitigation plans for technical and schedule risks.
• Coordinate with supply chain on hardware lead times and milestones.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for program status to leadership.
• Help formalize program management processes as the company scales.
