Job summary

Bonsai Robotics seeks a Senior Program Manager to bring order to a fast-moving hardware-software organization, coordinating across Product, Hardware Engineering, and Software Engineering.

You'll own end-to-end program plans, manage budgets and scope, surface risk, and keep leadership aligned on status while building scalable processes as the company scales. This on-site role is based in San Jose and Watsonville, CA.

Qualifications

• PMP certification is required and 5+ years of program management experience in hardware-and-software environments.
• Experience coordinating across Product Management, Hardware Engineering, and Software Engineering.
• Ability to build scalable processes in a small, fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs across Product, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality.
• Own end-to-end program plans spanning product, hardware, and software.
• Create integrated program charters, scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Run program cadences and leadership status updates.
• Track budget, scope, and resourcing; elevate tradeoffs.
• Manage risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with supply chain on hardware lead times.
• Serve as the primary status contact for leadership.
• Formalize program management processes as the company scales.
