Job summary

Raydar is seeking a Senior Robotics Integration Engineer to lead the hardware and software integration for complex electromechanical equipment. This role involves bringing up systems, testing, and coordinating the handoff between hardware and software teams.

The position requires hands-on work, building a new integration function, and occasional travel to deployment sites. We value candidates with experience in full-system bring-up, robotics arms, and a track record in fast-moving environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechanical, electrical or software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading full-system integration and hardware/software handoff.
• Experience with industrial robot arms.
• Comfort writing code in a high-level scripting language and a lower-level systems language.
• Strong depth in electronics or coding, not just mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine multi-part electromechanical systems.
• Integrate sensors and actuators into complete systems.
• Improve interfaces between mechanical, electrical and software components.
• Build out the integration and test function from the ground up.
• Lead the handover of work from hardware to software.
• Support equipment in the field during deployments.
