Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a fast-growing robotics startup in Woburn, MA. The role emphasizes building full-stack applications, cloud services, and tooling for automated tire service systems.

You will work across the stack, from operator apps to cloud services, supporting autonomous decision-making and monitoring dashboards. Strong ROS experience and 5+ years of software engineering are required, with TypeScript/React and AWS experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications across the full stack.
• Previous robotics and ROS experience is an absolute must for this role.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and React for modern web development.
• Backend services and APIs using Go and/or Python are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance full-stack applications powering robotic tire service systems.
• Develop cloud-based services, APIs, and platform infrastructure.
• Create operator-facing tools, dashboards, and monitoring applications.
• Integrate robotic systems with cloud services and data pipelines.
• Collaborate across robotics, software, and product teams on new features.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of the platform.
• Contribute to architecture decisions in a fast-moving startup.
