Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to own and resolve complex customer issues across a broad, technical ecosystem. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix problems on robots, payloads, and software interfaces, while contributing to knowledge bases and process improvements.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering or CS degree, are proficient in Linux and Python/C++, and excel in cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering/Computer Science related subject.
• Excellent computer and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems.
• Proficiency in a high level programming language such as Python/C++.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to customers and internal customers for a highly technical and sophisticated product-agnostic ecosystem.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, reproduces, fixes and debugs complex electro/mechanical equipment – robots, payloads, and servers, software interfaces, or networked/wireless systems.
• May be involved in customer installation and training.
• Maintains knowledge of all base robot behaviors, functions, and changes in supported software and hardware.
• Builds deep expertise in the work of a specialized software feature development team.
• Uses internal tools and robot log data in the diagnostic process.
